Dorothy Ann Miller of Plano, Texas passed away January 27, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born January 18, 1934 to William and Martha Faye (Barnett) Harrell in Celeste, Texas. Dorothy graduated from Celeste High School. She married George Miller on September 30, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. Dorothy was a member of the Pitman Creek Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Dougherty and husband Kevin of Keller, Texas, Suzanne Money and husband Steve of Keller, Melanie Chamberlain and husband Kirk of Austin; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Caleb Dougherty, Kyle and Kailey Money, Breanna, Georgia and Mac Chamberlain; sister, Shirley Lipsey; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George Miller; parents, William and Martha Harrell; brother, Paul Thomas Harrell; and sister, Betty Nix.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment is to immediately follow the service at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
