Nina Gardner Obituary
Nina Honeycutt Gardner, 85, a resident of NHC Healthcare of Greenville, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005.
Born on Aug. 22, 1920, in Holly Springs, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Daniel B. and Mary Jane Norris Honeycutt.
Mrs. Gardner was retired from Sears-Roebuck & Co., Inc.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
Preceding her in death was her husband, John Leyburn Gardner; a brother, James Honeycutt; a sister, Ruby Honeycutt; and a great-grandson, Evan O'Neal Jordan.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Love Strattman and husband, Douglas H. Strattman, of Greenville, S.C.; a son, John C. Gardner of Oxford, Ga.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 29, 2005, at 11 a.m. at The Mackey Mortuary. The family will receive following the service.
Graveside services will conducted on Friday, December 30, 2005, at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The family will receive following the service.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
