Services for Ruby Sumrall Lambert of Monticello are 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery in Jayess.
Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until service time at Wilson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lambert, 88, died Oct. 24, 2000, of heart failure at Lawrence County Hospital. She was born in Jayess on Oct. 24, 1912, to Andrew Jackson and Ethel Melissa Rowell Sumrall.
She was retired as a seamstress from Edward Hyman Manufacturing Company in Prentiss. She attended Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Beron Lambert.
Survivors are her son, Currie Lambert of Monticello; her daughter, Cathy Vernon of Jackson; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
