Lupe passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 22, 1943 in Menard, TX. Lupe was married to Juan (Johnny) Arredondo.
Viewing will be held Friday, February, 18, 2022 from 12:00 noon p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Juan (Johnny) Arredondo; her grand-daughter, Jenny Reyes in November 2016.
She loved road trips with her daughters, sewing and creating beautiful quilts, and always cleaning. Lupe was a fabric of her family that held everyone together, and she loved spending time with her precious family.
Lupe is survived by her sons, Jose Reyes (Linda) of Bronte, TX., Johnny Lucio of Meansville, Georgia, Carlos Lucio (Michelle) of Louisville, Kentucky, and Rick Lucio (Amanda) of Lubbock, TX.; her daughters, Mary Rodriguez (Abel), Gloria Lucio, Elda D'Agostino (Phil), all of Lubbock, TX., and Sylvia Lucio (Ralph) of Lamesa, TX.; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; her brothers, Pete (her twin brother), Felipe, and Jose; her sisters, Juanita, Anita, and Amy; numerous relatives and friends.
