POTTS CAMP - Jessie Pipkin Stanton, 88, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, in New Albany. She was born Feb. 22, 1923. She was a member of Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a grocery store owner and a pawn shop owner.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holly Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Wilson, Bro. Bob Pugh and Bro. Ralph Pipkin officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Jean Davis of Potts Camp and Deborah Hunnicut (Randy) of New Albany; eight grandchildren, Randy Paton, Karen Garrison, Carl Pipkin, Lisa Clayton, Scott Paton, Perry Pipkin, Crystal Wilson and Chantz Hunnicutt; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, C.R. Pipkin and David Stanton; her son, James Carl Pipkin; and her parents, Lee and Nancy Lemons.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
