ERA LEMONS CRONEY, 84, a homemaker of Memphis, formerly of Potts Camp, Mississippi, died of heart failure on Sunday in Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Holly Springs (Mississippi) Funeral Home with burial in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery near Potts Camp.
Mrs. Croney, the widow of Horace Croney, leaves three sisters, Mary Pipkin of Forrest City, Arkansas, and Jessie Pipkin and Doris Day, both of Potts Camp; two brothers, Charles Lemons of New Albany, Mississippi, and Dallas Lemons of Potts Camp, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. ~~~ THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, TN, July 7, 1999, page 14
