Ms. Adams was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, was on the Pastor Aide Committee at the Church, and was a member of the Pride of St. Lucie Temple Elks Lodge #853 in Fort Pierce. She enjoyed catering, playing cards, and dancing. Ms. Adams was a volunteer with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department and for the Lincoln Park Academy concession stand for the girls' basketball team.

She is survived by her daughters, Sarita Ricks, of Fort Pierce, FL, Angelia Wilson, Port St. Lucie, FL, and Kimberly Adams, of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Wendell Adams, of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Florine Hickman, of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Lee Andrew Haynes, of Conyers, GA; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Adams.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 800 Avenue C, Fort Pierce, Florida 34950.
