Born in Harrison County, KY, Mr. Fields was the son of the late Joel and Sarah
Anne McLoney Fields. Moses was a member and deacon of the Cynthiana Christian
Church.
Mr. Moses Fields first wife was Loretta
Hughes Fields.
In addition to his wife, Lela Fields, other survivors include two daughters, Mrs
Phyllis Raye Fields Wilson (John) (daughter of Loretta H. Fields) of Lexington,
KY and Mrs. Linda Driver (Jerry) of Cave City, KY, one son, Gary Ammerman, of
Lexington, KY, one sister, Francis Fields of Bell, CA, eight grandchildren, and
two great-grandchildren. Mr. Fields and his first wife, Loretta, also had a
son, Joel Hughes Fields who was living at home in 1952.
Services for Moses Fields were conducted Thursday, December 29, 1988 at the W.
R. Milward Mortuary - Southland in Lexington, KY. Burial was in Jacksonville
Cemetery in Bourbon County, KY. Memorials were requested to the Kidney
Foundation of Kentucky.
