If anyone knew Ray, under that gruff exterior was a sweet and caring man that would do anything for anyone. He could always make you laugh, and it was always definitely an adventure when you were around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 35 years, Barbara Ann Phillips and is survived by his son, Ray Matthew "Matt" Phillips and many, many dear friends.
