Sylvia Ann Kotria, 83, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1940 in San Angelo, Texas to Leonard & Euda B Isaacs. Sylvia attended Eldorado High School and obtained her GED.
Sylvia then began her career in Data Technology, working for GTE Data Services as a Data Entry Clerk/Tape Librarian.
Sylvia was a proud member of SWTX Electric Co-Op Inc, and had a passion for her GTE friends, her family, horse racing, gardening, homemaking, feeding the deer and hummingbirds at the ranch, playing Skip-BO which, she won frequently, and Texas Rangers Baseball.
Sylvia will always be remembered for her pistol toting, spit fire attitude. Her stature may have been small, but her heart was big. Her persistent and dedicated work ethic, and her strong backbone carried her through life.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM May 5, 2023 at Johnson Funeral home in San Angelo, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to hospice of San Angelo, The family would also like to thank Park Plaza Staff and Nurses, Shannon Hospital, and Hospice of San Angelo for their loving care.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Euda B Issacs; her brothers, Floyd Isaacs, and Kenneth Isaacs; and her sisters B Young, and Willie Ruth Isaacs.
Sylvia is survived by her sister, Alice Lee Barfield; son, Jimmy Lee Setchfield and wife Kyle; her daughter, Carol A. (Setchfield) Davis and husband Damon; and son, Keith Brian Kotria and wife Heather; her grandchildren, Jimmy Lee, Valerie, Alex, Amanda, Ashley, Caleb, and Carleigh; her 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
