ELDORADO - Leonard Floyd Isaacs, Sr., 77, of Schleicher County died Thursday, March 8, 2007 ina San Angelo hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 10 at 4 p.m. at the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel with burial following in Eldorado Cemetery.
He was born to Leonard and Euda B. Isaacs on Aug. 4, 1929 in San Angelo.
He married Geneva Olfer on March 30, 1951 in Austin.
He was a rancher and enjoyed his ham radio as well as playing the guitar, RVing and painting.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Euda B. Forehand and by a grandson, Wesley Isaacs.
He is survived by his wife of the ranch; daughter; Nancy Guthrie and husband Tom and granddaughter Lauren and Susan Guthrie, all of Rockdale; two sons, Leonard Isaacs, Jr. and wife Sherry and Dennis Isaacs and wife Brenda, all of Fairfield; brother, Kenneth Isaacs of San Angelo; three sisters, Willie Ruth Isaacs of Eldorado, Alice Henry and Sylvia Katria; grandchildren, Tammy and Bryan Gawryszewski and their children, Cooper and CaliJade, Scott and Kayna Isaacs and their children, Madilynn, Makensy, Dlaton and Morgan, Melissa Isaacs and Jason Isaacs.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel Fund, Box 117, Eldorado, TX 76936.
