Ronnie L. Caldwell, 80, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 12:18 PM, Monday, May 15, 2023, at University Hospital Columbia in Columbia, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Lindell F. Shumake and Rev. C.M. Cole will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Ronnie's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the funeral home.

Ronnie was born November 6, 1942, in Hannibal, MO to Raymond Cash Caldwell and Mercedes Allen Caldwell.

Survivors include his two sisters, Marilyn Webb of Palmyra, MO, and Shirley Phelps of Palmyra, MO; and special friend, Sue of Hannibal, MO.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronald (RL) Caldwell; one brother, Albert Ray Caldwell; and his sister, Catherine Caldwell.

Professionally, Ronnie worked for many years at Hannibal Monument before becoming a self employed general laborer.

An avid outdoorsman, Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and being a hobby farmer, raising cows, goats, and pigs. He loved going antiquing, and was a perfectionist in everything he did. Ronnie loved to help others, he often volunteered his time at the Hannibal Nutrition Center, visited local nursing homes, and even took food to feed the homeless. Most of all, Ronnie cherished his time spent with his loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Billy Webb, Brodie Webb, Lane Bernard, and Mike Ward.
