Alexander Stombaugh, died at his home at Lovely, Monday morning at 6 o'clock of complication of diseases after a lengthy illness.

He was born on July 17, 1858 in this county, a son of Joseph H. and Margaret (Smith) Stombaugh, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Miss Anna Belle Allison on September 23, 1877.

Surviving are his wife and two children, Elmer Stombaugh of Johnstown and Mrs. Gilbert McDonald of Alum Bank, R. D. He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Alexander Ling of Alum Bank and Mrs. Belle Flick of Lorraine, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Union Evangelical Church at Lovely Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. T. O. Fuss, the pastor. Internment was made at the Mt. Union cemetery at Lovely.
