Mandy was on the Clinton High swim team. She also was a life guard at the Clinton YWCA. She met the dolphins for the first time on her senior class trip to Mexico. She made sure when she came back, that I don't buy any tuna, that wasn't dolphin safe.

Friends were always a big part of Mandys life. Here, she had gone off to Bible camp for a couple of weeks in the summer, with friends.

This is where Manda went with a bunch of her friends, to an amusement park, for a couple of days. I am not sure where this was taken. Mandy had such a nice group of girls that she was friends with.

Mandy worked for something called Saftey Town, in Clinton. A summer project, to teach small children saftey rules. She and her friends signed up to volunteer some of their summer time to help out.

This is when Mandy worked at the theater in Clinton, Ia. She enjoyed her job, as she got to work with close friends and get a little extra spending money, when she was in high school.

Mandy loved the TV show with Alli McBeal, this is when her hat became stylish for her. She was always such a happy spirit, and made fun, out the little things in life.

Mandy graduated from Clinton High Scl., in Clinton Ia. Had not been diagnosed with Lupus at this time. Very happy days in her life.

Footprints that she left on the beach in Mexico. Her and some friends initialed their prints. In the middle was T.C. for Teresa, one of her best friends since kindergarten. On the left, Me, is of course Mandy. I really couldn't make out the other set of prints. I'm sure they had fun.

Mandy ready to go off to college. She had just gotten her new car, and pretty proud. She was so happy this day. And most of Mandys days were happy ones, even the day we were told she had the awful disease of Lupus, she bought me a blue bird pin to wear, and said "Mom there is always something to be happy about, sometimes you just have to look a little harder for it"

This is in her small apartment on the A.I.B campus where she attended college in Des.Moines, Ia. She loved her pets, this is Pepper, that we had brought to her for our visit. Mandy's favorite holiday...Christmas. This was her last one, that she enjoyed her on earth.

The weekend right before we lost her, to that dreaded disease of Lupus. She had attended a bridle shower, for her friend, to which she was to be one of the brides maids. 4 days after this was taken, Mandy went home to Jesus.
