EDINBURG MAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Funeral Service Held at New Bethel Church This Afternoon

Jacob Coy who died at his home on North Clay street Monday evening at 6 o'clock at the age of 78 years had been ill for more than a year. He was born and raised near Edinburg on the old Coy homestead. He moved to Edinburg about sixteen years ago. He is survived by the
widow and five children. The children are Charles, Will and Oris Coy of Indianapolis, Mrs. Burtha Sutton and Mrs. Clara Williams of Edinburg. He is a brother of Frances and Jesse Coy, and Mrs. James [Oscar] Davis of Edinburg and Morgan Coy of Indianapolis. He also has several grandchildren. Mr. Coy was a familiar figure of Edinburg and his family has the sympathy of the community.

The funeral was held from the New Bethel church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. Coy of Lebanon, Ind. Burial was in the Bethel church cemetery.
