Rites at Brooken May 6
Funeral services for Arthur J. Madden, 85, a retired farmer of Eufaula, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Brooken Baptist Church. Mr. Madden died Sunday in a McAlester hospital. Survivors include his wife, Earle of the home; four sons, Charles of Walnut Creek, California, Bunk and Billy, both of San Diego, California, and Griffin of Tulare, California; five daughters, Mrs. Edith Davis of Brooken, Mrs. Ilene Davis of Quinton, Mrs. Erma Cants of Culver City, California, Mrs. Reba Barby of Tulsa and Mrs. Mary Hamlin of Eufaula; 32 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Burial was in the Brooken Cemetery.
