Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hebron Baptist Church for Mrs. Mary Ann Bearden, 55, who died Friday at the Huntsville Hospital. Rev. Mr. Davis conducted the funeral. Burial was in the Walker Cemetery with Butler Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bearden is survived by her husband, Bob Bearden; five sons, Allen and Roland Bearden of Rt. 1, New Hope, Richard and Carlon Bearden of Morrison, Tenn., and William Bearden of McMinnville, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Tidwell of Huntsville, Mrs. Alvie Ivey and Mrs. Minerva Ivey of Madison, and Mrs. Nora Davis at the home, New Hope; one brother, Fred Anderton of Asheville, N.C., one sister, Mrs. Florence Duncan of Asheville, N.C.; and 27 grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Paul, Eli, Julius and Silas Smith, Luther Cagle and Eugene Price.
Married Robert H. Bearden on October 17, 1911 in Alabama.
