She was born in Pike County, April 12, 1952, a daughter of Viola Tackett White and the late Challie White.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Addington; two brothers, Roy White and Carlos White; one sister, Joyce Bentley; and one grandson, Duncan Smallwood.
She is survived by her husband, Elmo Addington; one son, Kirby Addington of Brushy Fork; one daughter, Michelle Smallwood of Cameron, N.C.; two brothers, Ray White of Bearfork and Paul White of Blaze Branch; five sisters, Edith Tackett of Long Fork, Eva Mulins of Abington, Va., Ruth Hall of Floyd County, Verba Lois Justice of Robinson Creek and Ruby Bentley of Beefhide; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, in the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church with Tony Bentley, Carson Wright and James Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Addington Cemetery.
