CHURCH HILL - Eliza J. Robinette Arrington, 89, of Church Hill, departed for her heavenly home, Tuesday (August 30, 2005) at Brookhaven Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Arrington was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was a founding member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chris Robinette, her second husband, Rev. Clarence Arrington, her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Douglas Lyle Marsh, sons-in-law, Charles "Bud" Seal and James Cradic, sisters, Dollie Pannell and Mary Jane Harris, brothers, William and Mack Fletcher.
She is survived by one daughter, Agnes Seal Cradic, Church Hill; four grandsons, David Seals and Wife, Debra, Thomas and Tim Marsh, all of Church Hill; Tony Marsh and wife, Carol, Surgoinsville; 7 great grandchildren, Ashlee Dye and Husband, Brandon, Justin Seals, Paula McBride and husband, Brandon, Keisha and Josh Marsh, Blake and Jordan Marsh; two great great grandchildren, Loghan and Maycee Dye; four step children, Harold Arrington and wife, Linda, J. C. Arrington and wife, Linda, all of Church Hill; Gary Arrington and wife, Sherry, Georgia; Roger Arrington and wife, Vicki, Sedwick, Kansas; several step grand and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the home of her daughter, 218 Shelby Street, Church Hill.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Doug Harris, the Rev. Larry Tolly and the Rev. Louis Forrester officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens
