Wilma was a lively, outgoing lady who loved to talk. She could truly talk to anyone and made new friends everywhere she went. Wilma was incredibly proud of three things: her marriage to Bob Lupton, her daughters, and her Native American heritage. She enjoyed playing Bingo with Bob, and she loved singing her favorite songs on her karaoke machine at home. She also loved watching OU football games on TV. Most of all, Wilma was all about her family. She adored it when her children and grandchildren would come to visit, treasuring the time she spent with the ones she loved. Wilma was a loving wife and mother, and a wonderful sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be very dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Thelma Henry, three sisters, Jackie Irene Howard, Jimmye Lee Field, and Nina Faye Giles, as well as her husband, Bob Weldon Lupton.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeanett "Jan" Irene Lupton, Tresa DiAnn Lupton, and Jenny Lynn Lupton; two stepchildren, James Lawrence Lupton, and Barbara Lee Lupton; her sister, Tommie Jean Haddock, along with 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many more loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, 120 S. Broadway Ave. Moore, OK 73160, from 1:30-8:00pm Sunday, April 30, 2023.
