Mrs. Helen Roach (nee Helen Stone), 78, of Rte 3, died at Champlain Valley Hospital last night.

She is survived by six children: Mrs. Harold VanWert of Plattsburgh, Mrs. John O'Malley and Mrs. Beatrice McGee of Brooklyn, Mrs. John Bates of Spartansburg, SC, Victor and Howard Beshaw of Plattsburgh; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Rascoe, Mrs. Arthur Champagne, Mrs. Benjamin Stacey and Mrs. Jennie Durocher; three brothers, Peter Sone of Troy, Albert Stone of Plattsburgh and Arthur Stone of Boston; 8 grandchildren; nine g-grandchildren.
