"Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald-Files Chapel in Weaverville for Mildred G. Bailey of Ono. The Rev. James Austin will officiate and burial will follow at Weaverville cemetery. She died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Redding.

Born June 18, 1897, in Rio Dell, she was 78. Mrs. Bailey had lived in Shasta County for 20 years. She was a homemaker.

She leaves seven sons, Archy of Lakehead, Harry and William, both of Weaverville, Thomas of Oregon, Richard of Rainier, Ore., Norman of Igo and Bud of Weaverville; five daughters, Helen Maloney of Ono, Alice Broudrux of Central Valley, Mary Luck and Susan Fisher, both of Happy Valley and Emma Smith of Lewiston; two brothers, Clarence Reeves of Eureka and John Reeves, address unknown; three sisters, Ellen Daniels of Eureka, Mabel Batini of Maxwell and Ivy Davis of Eureka; 36 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren."
