Husband of LaVerna Reeves. Father of Richard (Dick) Reeves, Lois Reeves, Mrs. June Schweigert and Mrs. Thurma Bray, all of Eureka. Brother of John Reeves and Clarence Reeves, both of Eureka, Mrs. Mildred Bailey of Redding, Mrs. Mabel Batini of Auburn, Mrs. Ellen Daniels of Eureka, and Mrs. Ivy Davis of Petrolia. He is also suvived by 8 grandchildren, 1great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A native of Bear River, aged 60. Mr. Reeves had been a commercial fisherman for 45 years prior to his retirement and last owned and operated the boat "Duke." He was also a former member of the Fishermen's Assn.
Services will be held at Sanders Funeral Home, Eureka, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James M. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka.
