Tina Joy Watkins was born in Hayti, Missouri on July 6, 1960. She passed away on April 20, 2023, at Barnes -Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was 62 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Billy Bert Hatley and Dorothy Mae Middleton Hatley, 3 brothers: Jerry Hooper Sr., James Hatley, and Billy W. Hatley, and one infant sister: Doris Elaine Hatley.
Tina was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband Michael on April 22, 1977. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Caruthersville, MO. Tina loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She especially loved her fur baby Taz. Tina will be missed by so many.
She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory: Husband: Michael Joe Watkins of Caruthersville, MO; four children: Jennifer (Jim) Forbus, Robin (Brandon) Martin, Sarah (Tyler) Watkins all of Caruthersville, MO., and Michael (Fiancé Rhonda Gower) Watkins, Jr. of Ellsinore, MO; three brothers: Ronnie (Linda) Hatley of Ripley, TN., Dennis Hatley, and Gary Hatley and a sister by heart: Pam Piscassio; and nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, with Brother Jim Tom Pilcher officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Interment will be in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville.
