In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Deacon Emerison Addison, Jr. of Wewahitchka, Florida, on April 2, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 87 years old and a native of Gulf County, Florida.

Deacon Addison was blessed with the breath of life on July 31, 1935 in Dalkeith, Florida to the parentage of the late Emerison Adddison, Sr., and Estelle Robinson Addison. Being reared in a Christian home, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a longtime member of Faison Temple Church of Christ Written in Heaven of Wewahitchka, Florida.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife: Mrs. Johnnie H. Addison of Wewahitchka, Florida; four daughters: Annie Ruth Davis of Panama City, Florida, Vera Bishop of Orlando, Florida, Brenda Jones (Randy) of Wewahitchka, Florida, and Pastor Darlene Cutler (Mark) of Port St. Joe, Florida; seven sons: Edgar Addison of Orlando, Florida, Raymond Addison (Angela) of Miami, Florida, Ronnie Hellom of Jacksonville, Florida, Joe Hellom of Tallahassee, Florida, Charlie Lee Addison (Stephanie), Phillip Addison, and Richard Addison (Kathy), all of Panama City, Florida; a large host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Evelyn Tharp of Dothan, Alabama, Delois Fisher, and Carol Croom, both of Panama City, Florida; brother-in-law: Johnell Wilson of Panama City, Florida; along with a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
