Russell Banks was born the 20th of May 1830 in Corinth, Vermont. He had 2 sons and a daughter. Russell Jr., John Luscious and Eva. Their mother Electa died soon after Russell did from a disease of the times (not sure which) and that left the children in the care of relatives and they were split up but reunited in Grunday County,Missouri in the late 1880's. Russell Jr. is buried in an unmarked grave in Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence,Mo.
