Miss Wanda Sue Arney, age 71 of Cookeville passed from this life on Sunday morning, April 2, 2023 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 16, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Johnny J. and Joyce Dishman Arney. Miss Sue enjoyed life, listening to music, watching game shows, and especially Kentucky fried chicken. She also loved all of her family and friends.

Sue leaves behind her second mama: Ruth Arney of Cookeville; sisters: Cheryl (Mike) Case of Colorado and Lisa (Rick) Fry of Unionville TN; nephews: Johnny Dewayne (Debbie) Arney of Livingston, Jeff Arney of Hilham, Nick (Brooke) Case and Samuel Case of Seattle WA; nieces : Sheila (Todd) Nash of Knoxville, Mary Lawson of Algood, Cecilia King of Bowling Green KY, Amanda Case and Mikaela of Seattle WA, and Rebecca Case of Sidney, Australia; aunt: Willa Dean Love and husband Dr. Charles Love of Lawrenceburg.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother: Johnny Ray Arney and sister: Judy Ann Freels.

Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, April 6th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Miller Cemetery at Allons.
