Pamela Zundel, 59, longtime resident of Palm Desert, CA, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 4, 2008.

She was surrounded by her beloved family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 72-960 Parkview Dr., Palm Desert, CA. Bishop Dave MacDonald will officiate. A visitation is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. before the service at the same location. Interment will be in Brigham City, UT.

Pamela was born Sept. 1, 1948, in Brigham City, UT, to E. Earl Watson and Jeanne Adamson Watson. She lived as a child in Utah, The Philippines, Spain, Colorado, and Germany. Pamela returned from Germany to attend Weber State University in Ogden, UT, where she met her husband, Craig Eberhart Zundel. They were married on June 10, 1970 in the Salt Lake Temple. This year they will celebrate their 38th anniversary. All who knew her would agree that Pamela spent her lifetime serving her family, friends and community. She was a great influence in the lives of many people. Her spirit of gratitude and service will be long remembered. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served with many age-groups and in various assignments in auxiliary organizations, including Ward Primary President, Stake and Ward Young Women's President, and Ward Relief Society President. She was recognized for her great leadership skills and an ability to befriend and care for those around her.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Craig Zundel, Palm Desert, and three children, Brandon Eberhart Zundel (Nicole), Menifee, CA; Kyle Craig Zundel (Kendall), Oceanside, CA: and daughter, Amanda Sari Zundel, Palm Desert, CA; and one grandchild, Ellison Louise Zundel. Pam is also survived by her father, Elbert Earl Watson; brothers, Chet, Lewis, Wayne, Vince and sister Lynne. Many other youth and young adults came to consider her their 2nd mom because of her abounding love.

Arrangements for the funeral locally and in Brigham City, UT, were made by Forest Lawn. There will be a graveside service in the Brigham City, UT, cemetery.
