Jeanne L. Dillon-Thomas, age 86, of Hazel Crest, IL, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Charles; children: Mary (John) St. Aubin, Janine (late Richard) Righter, Dennis (Cheryl) Dillon, Timothy Dillon, Anne Marie (Justin) Latham, Bonnie (Steven) Kramer, Matt (Marlene) Dillon, Marty (Mona) Dillon; step children: Charles (Charlotte) Thomas, Susan (Sal) Pellerito, John (Alice) Thomas, Luke Thomas and Matthew (Julie) Thomas; loving grandmother of 43; loving great grandmother of 11; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; two brothers: Bill (Veronica) Lauerman and Tom (Rita) Lauerman; sisters: Helen (William) King, Pat (late George) Burkhart and Ruth (Larry) Broviak.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Helen Lauerman; first husband, Thomas Dillon; daughter, Elizabeth (Richard) Wisch; stepson, Mark Thomas; and brothers: Paul (Dee) Lauerman, Edward (Donna) Lauerman and Richard (Val) Lauerman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 DIRECTLY at St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL.
Jeanne was a Registered Nurse at St. Ann School for many years. She was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. Jeanne and her husband Chuck loved to travel and visited 49 states throughout their travels. They truly enjoyed each others company and gathered many beautiful memories along the way. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VITAS Hospice.
