HOUSE, Dorothy J. Age 96, of Farmersville, OH, passed away Friday morning March 7, 2008 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born May 22, 1911 in Mentor, OH to Frank and Mary Hower, she was adopted at age 6 and raised by adoptive parents Irvin & Cora Marion. She was a farming homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy enjoyed being a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon, OH. Preceded in death in 1993 by husband Verbie House whom she married August 24, 1929: parents Irvin & Cora Marion; brother and sisters.
Survived by daughter Sonya Foust & husband James of Farmersville: grandchildren Jeff Foust & wife Joyce of Lewisburg, OH; Jodi Bontrager & husband Rod of LaGrange, IN; and Kevin Foust of Farmersville: great grandchildren Beth, Christina, Jamie, Daniel, Tiffany and Brittany.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Interment Holp Cemetery.
