Edith E. Long, 80, or Rochester, died Saturday, November 30, 1996 in the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center, Brighton Township. Born Sept. 7, 1916, in Mentor, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank B. and Mary Louis Schoendorff Hower, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Long, in 1994, a sister Flossie Wealand, and a brother Adam Hower. Surviving are a brother, David Hower, in Florida, and two sisters, Dorothy House, Dayton, Ohio, and Hazel Miltenberger, in Illinois.
Internment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
