Jim was born on July 24, 1941, in Bradbury, IL to William Ivan (Red) and Frances (Fritts) Glosser.
After graduating from high school in 1958, Jim Joined the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. Jim proudly served his country for 12 years.
Jim held many jobs throughout his life. He was an over the road truck driver and worked as the Crooked Creek Road Commissioner for 19 years until retiring. Jim loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, deer hunting, and was an avid arrowhead hunter. He was always proud to show off his vast collection to family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jayce Wright, siblings; Charles Glosser, Marie Tinsman, Sandy Billingsley, Russell "Tyke" Glosser and Sharon Cox.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday March 28, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Greenup Cemetery. Military rites will be held by the Cumberland County Veterans.
