Sharon was born on July 17, 1943, in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of William Ivan "Red" Glosser and Francis (Fritts) Kerner. She married Stan Cox on October 8, 1983.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; her brothers Charles Glosser, and Russell Glosser; her sisters, Marie Tinsman, and Sandy Billingsley.
Sharon was the biggest cheerleader for her family and attended every sporting event she could for her loved ones. She loved to travel even if it was just going for a drive to look at the changing leaves in fall. She loved planting flowers and preparing for Spring. She enjoyed painting anything that could use a fresh coat. She loved coloring, puzzles, and playing cards with family. She was rarely without a fresh glass of unsweet tea.
Sharon was a retired homemaker who loved sharing her passion for a home cooked meal with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through her famous chicken noodles recipe passed down through every generation.
Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery.
