Ivy Bucy, 77, of Murray died at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A native of Waverly, Ill., she retired from Murray-Calloway County Hospital after 20 years of service in the cafeteria and was a member of New Mount Carmel Baptist Church in New Concord.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Yarbrough of New Concord; one son, Kenneth Bucy of Benton; two brothers, Howard Eldridge of Chatham, Ill., and Don Eldridge of Waverly; four grandchildren, Lori Black, Johnnie Yarbrough, Susan Bucy and Brad Bucy; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Bucy. Her parents were Earl Eldridge and Ruth Nicholson Eldridge.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Revs. James Fulton and Randy Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
