Ollie Bell Woody Hannah, 85, of Lexington passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Mrs. Hannah was born in Cobb County, TN on October 22, 1937, to Jimmy Lawson Woody and Bertha Banks Woody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 43 years, Roger Lee Rethford; her daughter, Peggy Jo Hannah; her brothers, Amon, Wilkes, Crawford, JC, AL, and Tom Woody; and her sisters, Barbara Dean Hannah, and Lottie Ensley.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Charles Willard Hannah, and Paul Nathan Hannah (Sharon); a brother, Robert Lee Woody (Judith); a sister, Patricia Hannah (George); her grandchildren, Renee Hannah, Crystal Hannah, Joshua Hannah, Paul Rethford, Ty Hannah, and Kimberly Hannah; ten great-grandbabies that she loved dearly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Freedom Baptist Church at 214 Hillcrest Court, Lexington, NC 27292.
