BRISTOL — Elizabeth (Betty) Booska, 86, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1917, in Bristol, Conn., the daughter of Albert and Nora (O'Gorman) Bachman. Betty attended school in Bristol, Conn. She married Norton Booska in June 1944, and moved from Bristol, Conn. to Bristol, Vt. He predeceased her on March 3, 1997. She was employed at Van Raalte Co. and Simmonds Precision. Betty's greatest legacy was being a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She is survived by two sons, ; daughter ; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, special sister , many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by a son, Joe, three brothers and a sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. Interment will be in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Friends may call at the BrownMcClay Funeral Home in Bristol, Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health and Hospice, Middlebury 05753.
