left behind 3 living children
Wife of Simeon Sleeth; Celestia was a native of Mercer Co, Pennsylvania and daughter of Mr & Mrs Frank Bennett.
********
Died.
SLEETH.--Of heart disease, at her home in Rock Creek precinct March 3, 1879. Celestia A. wife of Simeon Sleeth Esq., in the 37th year of her age.
Mrs. Sleeth was a native of Mercer county, Pennsylvania, and the oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Bennett. She was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and her sudden death cast a gloom over the entire community. Deep sympathy is felt for her bereaved husband and three orphaned children; but her friends mourn not as those who have no hope, for her trust was in Him whose presence lightens the gloom of the valley of shadows and death. The funeral obsequies were held at the school house on Tuesday last, the sermon being preached by Rev. T. K. Tyson, of the Baptist church.
