Collie was the daughter of John L. Jackson and Margaret Allen and granddaughter of Robert and Priscilla Allen. She married Clark Alexander Dickinson on June 29, 1882. Three children were born of the union: Bessie Dickinson Wood, Raymond Hill and Frank Clark.

"Mrs. Clark Dickenson died at her husband's residence near Williamson at ten o'clock yesterday morning of consumption. She was a daughter of J. L.
