Sarah "Sally" PHILLIPS was born in Clarke Co. IA, seventh of eight children to Ichabod PHILLIPS and Mary WATSON PHILLIPS (both of Rhode Island).

About 1876 she married John KELLER, son of Franklin and Ellen Jane KELLER. Together they made a home in Warren Co., IA and had four children. In 1886, John died in a logging accident in Gentry Co., MO. leaving Sarah a widow. In 1896, she married John HUFFMAN prior to their family homesteading in OK. By 1905, they had two more boys. Sarah "Sallie" KELLER HUFFMAN died in 1907 of unknown causes.

She was my great great grandmother.

Gravesite Details

NW Oklahoma Gen Society erroneously transcribed her DOB, s/b 1860. Also local resident informed me that tornados/weather damaged this cemetery/markers. Some markers (e.g. wood, damaged) no longer visible.
