Sarah Barker (birth and death dates as found in Quaker meeting records which are the primary sources) was the daughter of Enoch Barker (1776-1848) and wife, Elizabeth Davis (1782-1834) of Randolph County, North Carolina. She became the first wife of Thomas Cox (1800-1872). Their children were; Lydia, Neri, Ozias, Levi, Seth, Elizabeth, and Francis COX.
