MaryEllen Leigh-Stover, age 72, lifelong resident of Tullytown, Pennsylvania, departed this life Monday, August 31, 2020 at her home. Services and interment were held privately.

MaryEllen contributed to Find-a-Grave under the screen name Rev. Dr. Mary.

She was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1948, and was a daughter of the late Arthur Franklin and Grace Elizabeth Hubbs Leigh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howard Stover; stillborn sister, Linda Ann Leigh; and fur babies Laurie, Pepper and Scruffy.

MaryEllen worked as a nurse and was also an Ordained Minister and a Doctor of Theology. She also enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching.

This is what she wrote on her contributor page:
"Cemeteries have always been a hobby of mine, but I find it frustrating that many cemetery records are incomplete. I found this site and decided to do my part by adding those dearly departed that I am personally aware of. This may turn out to be quite a task! My friend RMP […] and I had made it our project to add a flower to every one's memorial in our home county of Bucks in PA.

"I am also doing all the cemeteries in Wales, and many in N. Ireland, since my heritage is mostly from these areas. If you know of or have any Welsh or Irish relatives that you would like entered, I'd be glad to do that for you.
Another current project is a huge one. Along with the projects I have mentioned above, I am steadily working through all American, Allied and Commonwealth (British Empire) graves in France and North Africa (so far, this will expand to include Germany in the future) for both WWI and WWII. I have always been a student of history and I firmly believe if we don't know where we came from and how we got here, including the cost of lives lost, we will never be able to find our way forward."
