Funeral for Arnaudville Man
Arnaudville -- Adlar Lanclos, 64, farmer of Arnaudville died at 6 pm. Friday at his home follow an illness of 18 months.
Lanclos was a native and lifelong resident of Arnaudville. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
The body is at Melancon Funeral Home in Arnaudville. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville with Father Alfred Gaudet officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Lanclos is survived by his wife the former Leonia Chautin of Arnaudville; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Lantz of Washington and Miss Virgie Lanclos of Arnaudville; and four sons, Wilfred, John and Harold Lanclos all of Arnaudville and Cleveland Lanclos of Melville.
Other survivors are three brothers, Oscar Lanclos of Arnaudville, Arthur and Alduse Lanclos both of Opelousas; four sisters, Mrs. Emar Mallet, Miss Ascalie Lanclos and Mrs. E. Zerangue all of Arnaudville and Mrs. Oscar Lalonde of Opelousas; and 11 grandchildren.
