He moved to Casselberry from Korea in 1977. He was a director of inventory for the U.S. government. He was a member of the Aloma Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Sertoma Lions Club in Honolulu.
Survivors include his wife, Sun Ok; son, Raymond T French of Casselberry; daughter, Wanda M French of Merrimack, NH; stepsons Homer K Hatori of Germany and Donald K Hatori of California; stepdaughter Phyllis H Pahukoa of Keanae, HI; brothers, Fred R French, Las Vegas, NV, Edwin O French of Brazil; sister, Charlotte Geddes of Saco, ME; and twelve grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Makawao cemetery in HI.
