Guy Adrian French died at Claremont General Hospital in Claremont, NH in February 12, 1976 after a brief illness. He was born on April 24, 1894 in Claremont; the son of Adrian and Ruth (Kimball) French.

He had been a resident of Claremont for eleven years. He had been employed in the maintenance department at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, NH and was a former resident of Portsmouth, NH where he had been employed by the Public Service Co of New Hampshire.

He married Harriet Wakeham on November 29, 1913 in Dorchester, MA who preceded him in death in 1946. He was also preceded in death by son Guy in 1915.

He is survived by children Frederick French of Las Vegas, NV, Edwin French of Brazil [died 1997 in UT], and Raymond French of the Department of the U S Army Civilian stationed in Korea; one daughter Charlotte Geddes of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two sisters Alice Bennett of Honneville, NY and Bertha Brown of St Petersburg, FL.

Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
