Jacob married Alice (Sarah) Craft. Jacob a son of Job and Sarah Parkhurst Babbitt took his family and went to Union Village with his parents in 1817. He became a young believer. Of his 10 children, 8 became Shakers. Jemima, Elizabeth, John, Amasa, Aaron, Amos, Luther and Calvin.
