Chrisoula Cleondis, age 102, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children on February 1, 2023.
She was born on March 12, 1920 on the Island of Patmos, Greece to Bill and Anastasia Poulos.

She was a lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.

Chrisoula was preceded in death by her husband Emmanuel Cleondis. She is survived by her son Angelo (Teri) Cleondis and daughter Anastasia (Angelo) Hronas; grandchildren George Hronas and Christopher Hronas.

Chrisoula left a legacy of love to all who knew her. She was a beautiful force of nature for 102 years and we will missed by her family and loved ones.

A private service for the immediate family will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday, February 11 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Lundberg officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Montgomery, AL., 1721 Mt. Meigs Road, Montgomery, AL 36107.
