Isabella Davison Armstrong was the daughter of Jane Ekenhead Davison and the Rev. John Davison, minister of the First Cookstown Presbyterian Church. Isabella married the Rev. Archibald Armstrong, minister of the Clogherney Presbyterian Church, in 1825. Together they had 10 children - Robert, John, Emma, Archibald, Margaret Isabella, Jane, Isabella Margaret, Charlotte, Thomas Edward and Alfred William. The children immigrated to America in 1854 after the deaths of both parents. They settled in Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia.
