"William Enzor Wachtel, 86, a former resident of Rosendale, died early Saturday at a St Joseph hospital, where he had been a patient two days. His wife, Mrs. Flora Wachtel, preceded him in death in 1967.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arletta Golz of St Joseph; a granddaughter, Mrs. Jerry Bird of St Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Ellerman of Whittier, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Georgette Wachtel Seib of Fresno, Calif.; two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 tomorrow at the Rosendale Christian Church. Burial will be in the Bennett Lane Cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, July 20, 1969
