Ibby's name was Thomas Sweat. Information I have is he was born 8/24/1834 in Louisiana (probably Rapides Parish), and he died March 1891 in Oklahoma. In the 1850 LA census he was living with the Kimball family in Rapides Parish. His mother Nancy (Thompson) Kimball was first married to a Sweat, possibly Joel. Next door was the Ephraim Sweat family.
