Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Wayne Robbins will officiate. Interment will follow in the Newkirk Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
On April 14, 1970, Rosalie was united in marriage to George M. Hain. On this date, she became the bonus mom to Brad, Kathy, Randy, and Shelley. To complete their chaos they added two more kids, Eldon and Rhoda into their brood in the years that followed.
Rosalie was a devoted wife, mother, and servant of God. Her family and faith were the things she valued the most in life. Rosalie lived a simple life, one she felt was most fulfilled by serving those around her. Her quiet demeanor and prayerful spirit provided strength and stability to everyone that loved her. In all things she desired to "give the glory to God."
In her almost 92 years of life, she lost many loved ones, including her parents, Benjamin and Vera Batdorf, husbands, Donald Cassaw and George Hain, sons, Donald Cassaw and Bradley Hain, son-in-law, Scott MacLaughlin, grandchildren Patrick Hain and Michael Cassaw, sisters Mary Lee Batdorf, Detta Wallace, Audine Huntington, Melba Barber, Betty Landes, and Alice Batdorf.
Those left to honor her name are her sisters, Velma Stilley (Al), Margaret Karcher, Susie Kincaid, and Kay Batdorf, her children and step-children Rose Ann Gomez, Kathy Marr (Phillip), Randall Hain, Benny Cassaw (Jan), Shelley Mitchell, Eldon Hain (Carrie), and Rhoda MacLaughlin-Ramirez (Patrick), numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
